Highlights from the R.E.A.C.H. 2nd Annual Career Exploration Fair

On Saturday, February 8th, 2025, R.E.A.C.H. held the 2nd Annual R.E.A.C.H. Career Exploration Fair. Community partners from across the Greater Euclid area came out to share information about their businesses, vocations/careers with our young people. Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer Gail opened our session by sharing career opportunities for the City and encouraging the youth to reach out and apply. Ms. Carrie Insana, our new Director of Human Resources for the City of Euclid sent helpful materials and an inspiring young woman who now works for the City. Our Ward 3 Euclid City Councilman, Mr. Dontea Gresham also stopped by to greet participants. Representatives from the banking, insurance, industrial services, Youth Opportunities Unlimited, Euclid Police, personal care services, and the entrepreneurial sector presented. We especially thank Ms. Dana Heil, Executive Director of the Euclid Chamber of Commerce, and Ms. Tina Dick who worked diligently with us to help connect us with community partners. We are also grateful for our AMAZING volunteers who served with excellence. We were blessed with the following businesses/careers/vocations present:

Calling all young people ages 14-21…
Would you like to increase your chances of obtaining a well-paying job following high school? Are you interested in strengthening your resumé building skills? Are you interested in participating in conversations that address the issues and concerns of youth today? Then R.E.A.C.H. is the program for you!
Restoration Ministries of Greater Cleveland has a new youth initiative called R.E.A.C.H. (Restoration, Education, Advocacy, Collaboration, Hope). REACH addresses three areas that can creatively impact positive change for young people (ages 14-21) in relevant ways:
(1) Can We Talk – Youth Identity
(2) Career Connections – Tools for a thriving career
(3) Health Talk Series – emotional, spiritual, and physical health discussions
