In 2022, Restoration Ministries of Greater Cleveland was awarded a grant from the American Baptist Foundation for a specialized youth outreach program in the Euclid/Greater Cleveland, Ohio area. REACH is that program! REACH addresses three areas that can creatively impact positive change for middle and high school students (ages 14-18) in relevant ways: (1) Can We Talk – Youth indentity (2) Career Connections – Tools for a thriving career (3) Health Talk Series – emotional spiritual and physical health disucssions. Restoration Ministries Youth Initiative “R.E.A.C.H.” Receives Two Community Grants…
Restoration Ministries of Greater Cleveland’s Youth Initiative R.E.A.C.H. has been blessed to receive TWO community grants for 2025-2026. In 2025, Restoration Ministries of Greater Cleveland was accepted into the Greater Cleveland Interfaith Alliance (GCIA) Cohort V. “The Greater Cleveland Interfaith Alliance (GCIA), launched with support from the Cleveland Foundation in 2015, strives to bring houses of worship together across lines of race, faith tradition, geography and more to serve the community. Formerly called the Greater Cleveland Faith Based Collaborative, the Alliance creates opportunities for organizations to enhance the mission-critical services they provide every day to our residents – and to strengthen the communities in which they serve.” As a part of this amazing Cohort, R.E.A.C.H. leaders participate in a variety of learning and networking opportunities (i.e., grant writing workshops, best practices for nonprofit organizations, connections with other houses of worship for service opportunities, etc.). For 2025, R.E.A.C.H. received a grant of $10,000 to continue our ongoing programming with young people ages 14-18. We are eligible to apply for another $10,000 grant in 2026! R.E.A.C.H. was also blessed to receive a $1,400 grant from the area Kiwanis to assist with transportation to and from our volunteer worksites during the summer Y.O.U./R.E.A.C.H. (Youth Opportunities Unlimited) program. We are GRATEFUL to God and our community partners for the continued support of R.E.A.C.H.

Highlights from the R.E.A.C.H. 3rd Annual Career Exploration Fair
Saturday, July 11th, 2026 1:00 – 3:30 p.m., Restoration Ministries of Greater Cleveland/Church of the Epiphany, Euclid, Ohio
On Saturday, July 11th, 2026, R.E.A.C.H. held the 3rd Annual R.E.A.C.H. Career Exploration Fair. Community partners from across the Greater Euclid area came out to share information about their businesses, vocations/careers with our young people. Our Ward 3 Euclid City Councilman, Mr. Dontea Gresham also stopped by to greet participants. Representatives from the banking, insurance, industrial services, sector presented. We especially thank Euclid Councilwoman Ms. Dana Heil, Ms. Amy Kapostasy, Executive Director of the Euclid Chamber of Commerce, and all of our presenters who took time out of their busy schedules to spend time with our REACH/Y.OU. youth employees! We are also grateful for our AMAZING volunteers who served with excellence.

Below are pictures from the Career Exploration Fair, 2026…
2026 was another banner year for the R.E.A.C.H. program! Below are some pictures from our events as well as picture highlights from our collaborative with Youth Opportunities Unlimited (Y.O.U.). Pictures feature volunteer services at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, working in the “Kingdom Kitchen” of the Imani United Church of Christ, learning about Imani’s specialized ministry to the food insecure, preparing a meal, and engaging with ministry leaders. Also highlighted are their virtual lessons, taught by our lead Virtual Instructor, Ms. Obra Smith, visits to the YWCA, learning about their community programs for women and families, non profits and for profits, a visit to Euclid City Hall Municipal Court, meeting a judge, learning about the court system, and engaging city leaders, engaging community leaders through in person and virtual lessons, and a visit to Fox 8 News where they engaged news anchors, broadcast engineers, sat on the live set and participated in question and answer sessions.
