“Resume, Application, Interview: Tips on how to GET THAT JOB!!!”
On Saturday, April 13th, 2024 at the Euclid Public Library, high school students and young adults gathered for the R.E.A.C.H. sponsored workshop, “Resume, Application, Interview: Tips on how to GET THAT JOB!!!” Our presenter, Ms. Tina Dick, Human Resources Manager for the City of Euclid, answered questions about how to prepare a resume, fill out applications, and how to get ready for and respond to questions during a job interview. Tina did a PHENOMENAL job interacting with participants, leading them in a mock interview session, and giving them guidance on how to tailor a resume to specific positions.
At the completion of the interview, participants had the option of giving their resume worksheets to Tina, for her to prepare an actual resume that they could keep in their records and use for future employment. What a BLESSING! We are grateful to the amazing collaborative relationship we have with The City of Euclid, Ms. Tina Dick, Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer-Gail, and the many support services they provide to our community!

R.E.A.C.H. Career Exploration Fair, held Saturday, February 10th, 2024, Euclid Public Library
On Saturday, February 10th, 2024, the youth program of Restoration Ministries of Greater Cleveland, “R.E.A.C.H.” held the first R.E.A.C.H. Career Exploration Fair at the Euclid Public Library. To God be the glory, we had an AMAZING EVENT!!! We were honored to have the following industries/companies/service areas represented for the Fair:
– The City of Euclid: Euclid Police Department, Euclid Fire Department, Human Resources Department, City Services Department
– The Manufacturing Sector: Cleveland Builds, Component Repair Technologies, Tylock Fittings & Valves
– The Healthcare Sector: (materials provided) The Cleveland Clinic Center for Youth & College Education.
We were blessed to have youth, adults, parents and grandparents to attend!
The most AMAZING thing that happened was that new partnerships are being developed to reach more youth, adults, and families, to help them to discover a variety of paths to enter healthy, productive, financially secure/abundant, opportunities available, in addition to traditional college training! A special shout out goes to the GREAT Mayor of Euclid, Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer Gail, who took time to meet with Pastor Chris Smith (Senior Pastor of Restoration Ministries, and the Executive Director of R.E.A.C.H.) to connect her with specific people in the City of Euclid departments for the Fair. Ms. Dana Heil, Executive Director of the Euclid Chamber of Commerce, also helped Pastor Smith by connecting her with WONDERFUL leaders in the Manufacturing community. We are also grateful for the R.E.A.C.H. PHENOMENAL Volunteers!!! We deeply appreciate our growing relationship with the Euclid Public Library, that provides FREE meeting room space to Library members.
